About me
I am a nineteen-year-old student from Egypt at Wellesley college, MA, USA, who is passionate about open and artistic communication. I am a graphic designer and a visual communicator and I like to write, dance and travel.
I care about strengthening communities through informal and peace education and their effect on our world and our roles as active global citizens.
My interest in peace education led me to the United World College in Mostar, Bosnia and herzegovina, where I graduated in 2015. (UWC is a movement that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.)

I've combined my interests through my leadership positions focused on communication at UWC and my involvement as a graphic designer and an active volunteer at CISV, an international NGO that aims to educate and inspire action towards a more just and peaceful world. I've also nurtured my interest in visual commuication through various internships and volunteer positions.

I believe that art can change the way we see ourselves and what's around us, and that therefore art can change the world. I hope to be part of that change and to be an inspiration to others.
